Evan Frank Lysacek is a dancer and retired U.S. Hall of Fame figure skater, being the two-time (2007, 2008) national champion, 2009 World and Grand Prix champion, and 2010 Olympic champion. He and real estate developer Duangpatra "Dang" Bodiratnangkura met about 10 years prior to the wedding, and it was love at first sight, but didn't properly connect right away due to schedules and work. He sent her flowers and gifts until they eventually started dating seriously in late 2018. They got engaged on April 2019 and have been married since December of that year
